Dan and Jamie came to His Place from Minneapolis, MN. Dan recently graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL with a Master of Divinity. He came to His Place to learn more of the practical ins-and-outs of ministry and serve in whatever capacity is needed within the church. He has a heart for people to know, experience, and love God through following the Lord Jesus Christ and living in step with the Holy Spirit.
One of the main responsibilities Dan has here at His Place is to provide a place for young adults to connect and grow with each other. He oversees Thursday Night @ His Place, which is a time for young adults to gather together and have “their own place.” Dan also tackles the occasional Sunday morning message whenever Doug needs a breather or wants to give Dan a particularly difficult challenge on a complicated text…
Dan and Jamie are enjoying North Idaho—they now understand the true meaning of the word “mountain.” They enjoy exploring the area and seeing how far they can push their compact car up, through, and around mountains on paved and unpaved roads. Dan is fairly athletic—or at least he used to be—and enjoys playing basketball and golf. He also enjoys the outdoors, especially in a fishing boat. At 6’4¾”, Dan is glad that he is not the tallest member of the church, though he is called “Matt” from time to time by others.
